Specifics of Inspections
The animal husbandry inspections for the label Natura-Beef / Natura-Veal are in fact a cooperation between the SAP, Mutterkuh Schweiz and the inspection company beefcontrol. The Inspection Service SAP performs random inspections within the framework of the ordinary inspections of beefcontrol. Therefore, we pick 100 out of about 2.200 farms to be controlled annually (from a total of approximately 4.200 Mutterkuh Schweiz labelled farms) and subject them to an unannounced inspection.
Hence, these inspections are different from the full inspections of animal husbandry usually performed and coordinated by us.
