The Competence Centre for Livestock is run by people who combine highest professional skills with the commitment and responsability for livestock animals.

Our field of work reaches from supporting practicable, trend-setting solutions in animal housing, trade, transport and slaughter, to communicating and raising awareness with retailers, caterers, politicians and consumers.

The Inspection Service SAP, as an integral part of the Competence Centre, assures independent, qualified and reliable inspections focused on animal welfare in the husbandry, the transportation and the slaughter of livestock.

As a branch of the Swiss Animal Protection SAP - the umbrella organisation of more than 70 swiss Animal Protection Societies - we're not politically or economically influenced and are commited exclusively to the welfare of livestock.
