- All livestock on a KAGfreiland farm must be kept according to the KAGfreiland guidelines
- Leading principle: access to outdoors and pastures for all animals
- Prerequisite: certified organic management of the farm
- Group housing for all animals
- The transport of KAGfreiland slaughter animals may take not more than two hours, measured from the end of charging of the last animal on the first farm to arrival and stand-still in the abattoir
