On normal condition the Control Service SAP performs unannounced inspections on livestock farms of selected labels.

Due to the actual situation these inspections have been preemptively interrupted in mid-March and resumed on a reduced level in the beginning of April after prior consultation with the farmers in the preceeding evening.

From May 4th the unannounced inspections of livestock on label farms controlled by the SAP will be reestablished, following instructions of the FSVO regarding official inspections.

Animal transport controls and abattoir audits will gradually be resumed as well, maintaining the necessary precautions where applicable.
